The Bracers that you see history as corrupt as history is, whether in greek army texts and myths or other is actually a genie's bracers, made of brass, as technology that is from Sutekh, from the Ceasers, a very basilisk and sad tech that is more akin to magic, a kinetic and elemental weapon and tech that was carried and used by the genie to both wage was and heal and other uses. The human mind can only conceive what it's limited knowledge knows, so to someone reading or seeing it in a pictures, its just some arm guard or something they must have worn, maybe to dodge birds or something or incoming beer bottles. But, it was a different society and those were giants and very both technological and magical and genetically evolved creatures. The bracers require you to be able to command a certain species and element or you cannot create or use it, therefor useless to a human without those abilities, unless trained to unlock and use them. It is amazing that these things exist in the first place, because it is a form of sand sorcery not known at this stage to any human, and is reserved for the Djinn, whom some people think they are mightier then. It is these djinn that would actually command what some people call the 'ala's' or these very electrical jelly like ancient top of the head type creatures u cannot see, not the other way around. It actually puts u up the food chain a knot because instead of being food u command, attract and control the feeder, the top of the head of the android that makes it functional and operational, which is why robot companies will never at this point understand what an AI is or isn't.
